Small plants with amazing results!
People almost always look at the leaf of the plant. The bigger, the better! But... The roots are much more important. All my plants are delivered as small as possible. Yes, that's correct! Large purchased plants do not grow as fast and well as the small grown plants.
Unique growing method
The plants I supply are grown with organic fertilizer. Then the plants are put into hibernation. As soon as the plants wake up in your pond, they start to grow fast.
Protection of growth core
Some species may have brown leaves. This doesn't mean the plant isn't good, but it's a protection for the growth core. This brown leaf I have left on purpose. In the winter most plants also have brown leaves to protect the growth core.
Dry packing
The plants are usually packed dry in recycled cups with protective moss or perlite (white granules). The cups also function as growing cups. In the cups the plants remain of good quality and can even grow a little. It's therefore no problem to store the contents of the cups for a while. It is best to add a little water and place the closed cups in a cool place between 5 and 10 degrees.
How fast does the plant grow?
How fast the plant grows depends on temperature and the amount of sun. If it's freezing, the plants will have minimal growth. But once it gets warmer and the sun shines, the plants grow rapidly. Also, the rate of growth can varies from year to year. One year it grows faster, but sometimes not until 6 to 8 weeks later than the year before.
